Since when does a person's curiosity of which excellent pool players did not make the IPT mean that they are spewing negativity and controversy? Ok, so maybe snub was the wrong word to use, but I was simply trying to find out what players of pro caliber were omitted from the IPT. I really don't see the harm in that. And as you know I was traveling for most of this fall so I apologize for posting something that was already posted. I really wasn't able to keep up with the board because of all the traveling. If you were trying so hard to avoid controversy and negativity, maybe you could have just passed this by as another post about the IPT and not publicly say, "I don't understand this post." But of course, you couldn't miss the opportunity to "jab" me from what happened a couple months ago.
Keith and I have moved on, but obviously you haven't. I guess you believed that telling the whole world that Keith McCready let me win a match in a "mickey mouse", tuesday night, $25 tournament wasn't enough. Well, to Keith that was just another match from his "30 years on the American tournament trail", but to a guy like me it was special - Until you told me and AZbilliards that he let me win. Great job Jenny, now you can sleep at night. You have exposed a terrible injustice in pocket billiards. It couldn't have possibly been right to just leave that piece of information to yourself, or tell me personally if you felt the need.
And, while I'm at it, your last sentence is exactly why this is something that you and Keith should be concerned about. I am familiar with Keith's history and I have heard stories of where Keith has been snubbed (either by not being invited to certain events or not getting seeded) and I, being a K.M. fan, didn't think it was right. I would think that looking back on his struggle would bring forth compassion to those that were capable, but didn't get chosen. Instead, it brings about "there's no snubs" and "i don't understand this post". Ok, whatever.
And one last thing...You tell your boy that the next time we play, he better come out firing because, come hell or high water, I'm going to kick his ass! I don't care that he's a ball or two better than me. I have never wanted to beat someone as bad as I want to beat Keith McCready! And if I had an ignorant backer, I'd play him all night![]()

Hi Danny,Danny Harriman said:I disagree with your statement about how the more ambitious players who sent there forms in early were the ones who got picked and deserved to be in this strange IPT (International Political Pool initiation tour.) I did send my form in early and was not selected, I have been on TV in the last year playing pool, ESPN named my match with Earl Strickland the match of the century. Before I had difficulty in receiving my prize $ from the UPA or Brady Behrman I was ranked in the top 16 for over 12 yrs. in a row, I enjoy the game of 8 ball and feel that it is a shame that politics 'rule the roost' but that is how the old ball rolls sometimes. I do agree with what Ian Anderson (WPA President) has to say about organization and working together, the playing conditions will be better than in the past but their org. is built on quick sand and $, which only time will tell on seeing whether or not this tour will hold up. Also anyone who is a true fan of pool would want to see more $ added to a tour - yes - however the tour will be missing some of the top names in pool in my opinion. It is absurd some of the players that are in the first event, these are players that when I was competing never even got in the $ rounds so there will be some mis-matched games going on for sure.
Sincerely, Danny Harriman
