I think this is really going to be awesome also! I like knowing who is going to play who so early before the tournament starts. I am sure there is going to be a lot of vcash being bet here, and real money otherwise. I am really excited to see really how the women are going to stack up here. We have all been waiting and speculating about this for a long time. As a player in this format, it must be interesting to be able to go to a tournament and know who you are going to be playing and when for the entire first day. This is so different than what we are used to, it will be fun to see how it all plays out!

I think he is. The listings are just for the 1st days play and players. Scotty Townsend isn't listed either. Probably more too.

Efren is a HOF'r and doesnt shoot til day 3. He is currently shooting great in the All Japan Open btw. He just had Lasik and is now clearly the one to beat IMHO.

Without the Lasik he was the one to beat. You know he's gonna be double tough now.

I don't think Scotty was picked to play in this tournament. When his time comes, I will be pulling for him. I know Scotty has it in him, and would love to him do well with this tour.
 
No Canadians picked for this event, Salvas would be a good replacment speed wise.

Yep, all he ever needed was just a little more confidence.
Eferen reminds me of the running back Gale Sayers. He was subject to score anytime he got his hands on the ball. Eferen is subject to win anything or event when he really sets his sites on it.

I've got an after hours one pocket tape of Scotty playing Alex Pagulayen(sp) for 1000 beans a rack. Scotty was firing balls in and running out like a madman! That stroke of his is something to see also. Alex quit em fairly quickly, and fairly stunned!....Gerry

I surely wish I could see Duel and Schmidt match. These are two very creative guys with all the tools. I wouldn't bet on this with Rebel money. (no offense intended $Bill)

Deuel would drill Schmidt. If John starts trailing in a match he just gives up. Cory never shows any signs of frustration and is a threat to win a match when he is trailing by a few games.

I've heard that Scotty used a fairly unconventional one pocket strategy. I have never saw him play the game though. It is a sight to be seen when he really lets his stroke out and catches a gear.

No offense taken, ironman. In fact, confederate money is worth much more today than U.S. $$$.

I played( friendly games) one pocket with scotty on two occasions.He does NOT consider himself as a one pocket player.
 
Sorry everyone!...I screwed up and said Scotty Townsend was in the tape, when it was Scott Frost......But I do have some tapes I got off E-bay called "After Hours" matches.....Gerry
