The latest announcement raises the possibility that the IPT will become a publicly traded company.

So, finally an opportunity to put our $$ into supporting a premier pool tour.

Would you invest?

Cheers,
RC

No the latest announcement doesn't raise the possibility of IPT being traded publicly.Nobody connected with IPT has ever suggested such a thing,so there's surely little point in speculating whether we'd invest in a publicly traded IPT.

The announcements made raise the completely different possibility that a company called Ho Interactive will be floated on The London Stock Exchange.Since we don't know what the ownership or business activities or assets of Ho Intercative might be other than acquiring IPT we are in no position to even take a wild stab at whether investment in Ho Interactive would be worthwhile either.

You need to see a prospectus on any planned initial public offering of any venture before you can begin to make a rational judgement.

Honestly don't mean to be a killjoy but this is to all intents and purposes a meaningless poll.

To be fair, I do believe a big money pool tour could turn a profit, just not one big enough to sustain a publicly traded company alone. If the tour were in the bag of major sponsor or media company (a publicly traded one), it would be a different story.

But, as I have stated many, many, many times -- NO LEGITIMATE BUSINESS WILL CONNECT ITS NAME TO ANYTHING REEKING OF KT. Period. End of discussion.

In addition to its PGA sponsorships, Ford Motor Company also puts its name and logo all over professional bullriding, they sponsor bass fishing tournaments, and they sponsor long OLN segments with "Fridays in the Wild" with a grab bag of outdoors shows -- all boldly declared to be "Brought to you by FORD". KT wants to think he can offer equal legitimacy to these other "sports" that attract major sponsors -- but that is simply a product of his own grandiose delusion.

He is a pariah, and his stench effectively kills any hope for legitimacy among mainstream sponsors for the IPT. Maybe the mirror always kisses KT back, but business community won't.

Not one red cent. I wouldn't give the crook 1 penny for everything he has. No dignity, no respect, no conscience, no friends that arn't on the payroll, and everything he touches will turn to crap for the rest of his life. Lord willing and the creek don't rise. His pompous ass won't even admit he has done anything wrong thru out this whole ordeal. Kinda looks like he fired Jasper also.

Then how would you interpret the following from the letter:
"...lower than originally contemplated. This shortfall will be made up at the IPO and..."

In every business context I know, an IPO stands for Initial Public Offering.

So that's why I thought about the question and I think it's completely fair game to speculate. Even if they are talking about HO interactive, it's a company they are creating to use the IPT as a cornerstone for it's strategy. So still investing in the IPT IMO.

Cheers,
RC

Though unintentional, you are perpetuating the lie. KT IS NOT A BILLIONAIRE, according to Forbes. It is impossible to conduct enough business to have a net worth of $1B without the <legitimate> business world being able to closely estimate your holdings, income and worth.

It's not an "IF" they are talking about Ho Interactive and not IPT as the company which is to be floated. They "ARE" talking about Ho Interactive as the company to be floated. KT already made that crystal clear in his very first letter/announcement. He specifically referred to letters of intent for acquisition of IPT havingbeen signed by Ho Interactive and a planned flotation of Ho Interactive in due course on The London Stock Exchange.I think we all know what an IPO is thanks. However the point is that the IPO which KT is referring to is the IPO for Ho Interactive.

How do we know that Ho Interactive isn't planned to be a company dedicated say 95% to gambling activities with all sorts of resources and assets dedicated to only that and with IPT as merely a tiny little added on sideshow?....or the reverse?...or anything in between those two extremes?.......the answer is we don't.

If you want to ask on a purely hypothetical basis "If IPT went public on its own as a company solely operating a pool tour would you invest in it" that would make more sense than inventing a scenario which purports that KT or IPT have indicated such moves are afoot...which they clearly haven't:)

Even that contingency would struggle for a rationally thought out answer from any of us cos absolutely no-one being polled has the slightest clue what the current assets and liabilities of IPT are so how could we even begin to have a clue as to whether it was wise to invest in it?:D

Folks, all this talk about an IPO is just more fluff from a Scam Artist.

You DO NOT form a new company (Ho Interactive) incure untold amounts of debt (original purchase of IPT), start off deeply in the hole with NO PROFITABLE BUSINESS MODEL, then go public???

Even a Micro-cap (Penny Stock) has to have a market capitalization of SOMETHING. If all you have is debt, and non-sustainable business model, the market cap would be less than ZERO! Regardless of how many shares are issued (assuming someone would actually take them public), each share would have a value of exactly ZILCH, ZERO, NADA, NUTTIN, SQUAT.

Owners don't determine the Market Cap of a company. To be listed ANYWHERE, regardless of value, you have to maintain all securities filings.
Even to be on the PINK SHEETS (think bottom feeders) ya still gotta show that your business model will, someday, when all the stars are in alignment, produce a profitable company. The IPT can not do that. Desperate people looking for a Miracle Cure can believe KT's crap, but an Investment Banker would laugh him outta the office.

The IPT needs Private Investors, maybe a Venture Capitalist which is really the role that Ho is taking (if that's on the level). KT played the role of his own Angle Investor, and provided Round 1 funding through Natural Cures.
(You'll do know that ther IPT is awholly-owned subsidiary of NaturalCures, Inc, right?)

But when you're still organizing the company, still forming it, and you are at the VC Investment stage, and have nothing but debt to show, you don't say "We're going Public!". It's a joke.

MAYBE after 8 quarters of profit, a company like this could be traded on the OTCBB as a Micro Cap Stock. But as of now, the IPT only has 5 quarters of losing money.

Regardless of company structure or market cap, "going public" requires months of planning and due diligence. An IPO does not make up for insufficient operating capital, nor is it EVER used to pay off previously incurred debt unless said debt relief would directly increase current revenues.

Profitability is not a requirement of an IPO. This IPO (IF!) is not going to be on the Nasdaq or the NYSE so who knows what the rules are. If there is an IPO, I will bet anyone that the IPT will be no more than 5% of the overall company or the IPO will flop bigtime.

Underwriters have ripped off many people floating POS IPO'S. SPO's too- i was in a BIO that issued a secondary at $172/share and sold almost 2 Million shares. It never traded above that for more than 2 days and went down to 10 in months- Today it is 24-But Goldman Sachs got thousands of investors to fork over 172 five years ago. Bullshit can go a long way suprisingly enough.

I did not mean to state that you must BE profitable, but you better show where you CAN BE profitable, which the IPT can not.

A successful SPO is almost always based on a future event happening, in BIOs it's usually the approval of a drug, or procedure, or the development of a new product. Well, for BIOs the IPO is much the same. IF they get FDA approval, the drug will result in $2B revenue. It's a gamble, but it is plausible which is why brokers can sell it and bankers will invest.

But the IPT does not have a business model or source of revenue that will EVER result in it being profitable. Until they do, there will be no IPO.

Not in a million years. I love this game but the chances of anything pool related going public AND turning a profit are slim to none.

Koop - hates to throw his money away.

sixpack...<<The latest announcement raises the possibility that the IPT will become a publicly traded company. >>

Not actually. The public offering is one of Ho's companies and THAT comapny is supposed to acquire the IPT...so the IPT, in and of itself, would not be public...only a part of a public company.

Regards,
Jim

I half heartedly speculated about the IPT going public a while back.

If the IPT had managed to get into 2007 intact and solvent then sure I would have jumped on the IPO. As it stands right now. Of course not. And I never buy penny stocks. Although I have had some stocks that turned into penny stocks.

Why would the IPT be commenting on the intentions of a third party as part of an explanation as to how an IPT payment will be made ? This makes no sense to me. It seems to me that Ho Interactive's financing and corporate status (private co. registered in XYZ jurisdiction, or public company traded on whatever stock exchange) is none of KT's business, and he should not be commenting on their future plans. Of course it makes a good story to tell creditors, which is what my cynical little mind thinks.

Dave, who's not sure if the word 'cynical' or the word 'little' applies more :o
