Iris Ranola can shoot!

My wife and I met Iris and her sister in Charlotte during the early rounds of the WPBA Tournament at Smokin Cues. My wife is Filipina, so we were delighted to finally see a Filipina playing in the WPBA. I expected Iris to be good, but she really shocked me with her abilities. I have no doubt that Iris will be in the TV Rounds of the WPBA Tournaments very soon and perhaps win a WPBA Event in the next year (yeah, I think she is that strong). As remarkable as her game is, Iris is one of the friendliest and nicest girls you will ever meet (when you are not her opponent of course). I don't know how she cut through all the red tape to get the Visa to the USA, but we are all very fortunate that she did. Mabuhay to the USA Iris! We are all very proud of you! Good luck in Jersey today!
 
Yeah, what's so nice about her is that she really is a friendly person. She's also very humble about her game. I think she's got all the makings of a champion.

A friend of mine said some filipina girl, who no one knew anything about, beat Kelly Fisher on ESPN today. I was at work, so can anyone confirm this?

Sounds wrong. The only TV match the two have ever played against each other was the final of the 2008 US Open, a match won by Kelly Fisher.
