I just read an update on his Facebook page that says he is sponsored by OB Cues now. I know it could be a fake page but there are quite a few pros on there congratulating Alex. Any info? True or false?

Must be true if he posted so! I know that they have been talking. A great sponsor for a great player. I enjoy watching Alex, he is always respectful and happy going when playing. IMO the best attitude in pool today!

I hope the best for both party's.
 
Alex's FB page may be real but many pros especially filipinos have never seen 'their' page

What's odd is there is no mention of it on the OB cues website nor is it on their Facebook page.. I saw it on Alex's page as well??
 
Where is the OB Cues press release naming Alex? When I see that i'll believe it. I hope its true. OB Cues make a great product and give back to pool in a big way and Alex is great for pool. Johnnyt
 
Yes, it's true!

We signed an agreement with Alex Yesterday.

Shane Sinnott is traveling today to Manila, so the press release hasn't been submitted yet. Alex just beat us to the punch!

Shane will put it up on our facebook page as well.

We should have some photos and possibly some video of Alex that will go up on facebook too.

Shane is gone all next week, and we'll be here until next weekend, so it may take a little bit.

We're very happy to have worked out a good deal with Alex. He's not only a great player, but also a great showman and personality. Look for him in our booth at upcoming major events. It will be lots of fun!
 
Thanks BBB :) I looked for his new website and on OB Cues also and found nothing. Maybe Alex spilled the beans too quick. I just thought about it, wonder why Royce didn't announce it on here? He still post on here doesn't he?
 
Hahaha, there's RBC! That is awesome news. Can't wait to see if he gets his own model or just uses the shaft. OB Cues makes a great product and I never hear any bad feedback about their shafts. Congrats on the big score!
 
Congrats to Alex! And thanks to OB cues for giving back to the game and sponsoring a deserving player. For this game/sport to survive and thrive, the industry needs to support pro pool first, then possible outside sponsorship may follow.
