just wondering if bobby has got out of jail yet hope so hope to see him at the music city classic and the dcc I really like to watch him play and think he is a real class guy

My dad lives in Jackson, TN and is friends with Bobby's backer. From what I've heard, if he's not out...he'll be out soon. I sure hope it happens. I've only ever heard great things about Bobby as well.

He'll be there

He will be there. If he wants to be. He will be out b4 the opening day of dcc.

I would like to hear about another BP and JK drinkin match!!! they were playing while TAR was live streaming.. was hilarious!!
( at least i think it was those two)

OT...Flip a coin between Bobby Pickle or Scotty Townsend, I have never seen someone that can drink like these guys and still play lights out on a pool table and both are alot of fun to be around. I hope Bobby is able to make it in time for the tournaments as well.

I don`t personally know him, but if he such a nice guys why has he been incarcerated ?

Many people do things that are illegal under our current legal system. This does not necessarily mean that they have ever done harm to anyone nor that they have ever been anything short of pleasant and respectful.

This is not to take up for anything that Bobby has done, but I can assure you it doesn't mean he is less of a human being. Anyone that has ever gambled on a game of pool could possibly have been incarcerated as well.

It is illegal or legal, not considered illegal. Pregnant or non pregnant, not considered pregnant. I had to go through an ABC course a few years ago while working at Shoreline Billiards and asked the instructor about gambling on pool and he explained that it was not illegal for two people to gamble on pool. The way he explained it was that if the pool hall backed a player it would become an illegal activity. The guy seemed to know exactly what I was talking about and also knew that I worked at a pool hall.

SOME states consider pool(and/or poker for that matter) a game of skill, and therefore not applicable to gambling statutes. One of the rubs is, in most states where home poker games are legal, it is illegal to take a rake/percentage, yet EVERY pool room takes table time, which is essentially the same thing. I always found this interesting.

I've come to realize that there is a difference between legalized gambling, and illegal gambling. The difference is statistical. Hitler is reported to have said something like, "The death of one person is a tragedy. The death of a million is a statistic." Somehow when crimes are committed on a massive scale, by the politically connected, or the rich and powerful, it becomes a statistic. Yet, when infractions are committed by a "commoner"; like you or me, it is a tragedy, and it's off to jail!

I am not necessarily in favor of gambling. I really couldn't care one way or the other. When I want to place a buck or two on a game, I will. But, I don't like looking over my shoulder like a criminal, especially when legislators can scam millions from honest people, in full view of everybody.

If I remember correctly he went down for being in a room where drugs were found. He had stopped in at another persons room and the room was raided while he was there.

That is also what I recall hearing here on AZ. Never did hear a simple story about the other time he went to prison.

Assuming he just gets out of prison on probably on parole what is the conversation like with his PO. Yes sir, I need to go out-of-state to gamble and drink to make all my fans happy.

Probably more like "I am a professional pool player, and the biggest tourney in the world is a couple of hours away." The drinking and gambling is just a bonus;)
