Yes I am on higher ground. My daughter lives in one of the neighboring counties that got hit harder than we did. She was not able to come to work on Monday. We got a lot of rain here also and the ponds next door were flooded over, but no major damage on my place. We know someone who had their basement fill up with water to the top of their motor cycle handle bars. I had a little water come in my basement, but I have had much worse in the past, so we did alright. It was just enough to make a couple of wet spots that mopped up easy enough.
