Is it worth it?

Please delete this stupid argument

I saw a $300 cue for $90 today. It needs a refinish and new wrap but rolls straight. Is it worth it to buy and have the work done? The cue is new but in one of those scratch and dent bins at my local cue store.

Since all these rule breakers are bashing me for breaking the rules, please delete this post. Over bumping a thread (which all replys in this thread are doing) is against the rules hypocrites. All i wanted was a simple answer not a lecture. If you have anything further to say, please pm me. Thanks

If its a production cue , I would say no.. Between a refinish and shipping you would be into the $300 for $300.. You may as well buy one that is already perfect and not have to wait for it..

Now if your going to buy it for $90 play with it and beat it up and then sell if for $90.. Then it's worth it .. Lol

Sometimes because its a good deal doesn't mean it's a worth it good deal..

Thanks for the input. I know a local guy that does good work. I think after all is said and done, that id be in the cue for around 180 total. Still say no?

That would depend on what kind of cue it is. You have retail price, wholesale price, and, AZB prices. It would help if you would disclose the make or model of the cue.

I hate to contribute to this thread, but it needs to be deleted here and moved to the main forum. there is no item here for sale to the open market. good luck with your project cue, but please post it in the correct section.

You are not asking to buy a cue from anyone on this forum, you are asking a question about a cue you want to buy locally. So no, your post doesn't belong here.

As i said before, i want it. This is the wanted and for sale thread. This post belongs here just fine.
