is a certain player taking a dive for the bookies????? Making horrible decisions and dogging shots against a rattled, out of sink opponent.

You're not paranoid, they're just out to get you!

What match were you talking about?

Thankfully the robots have not come for me today. LOL.

I am talking about the Macquire (spelling?)/Holt match... Macquire was making some really poor decisions that was keeping Holt in the match. He was rolling out of line and missing shots that just didn't look right. If this were some no name player not in the top 10 I would say its just some early tournament jitters. However, Macquire is a top drawer player who shouldn't make that many bad plays. His demeanor looked unusual for a guy who was serving up frames to his opponent. Also he has been implicated in some match fixing schemes last season. I might be totally off base here.

Not as yet watch the game but Stephen Maguires granddad passing may well have taken something from his current form. The guy from what i've heard was an ace converting his house to fit a full size table, coaching, encoraging, the works. When you lose a family member whose that close involved with your career too it's a wonder Stephens playing at all.

I've no doubt match fixing goes on in snooker hopefully be it pretty rare but it's the sort of game whereby it's impossible to prove and with the popularity ever growing in the biggest gambling nations of all in the far east the money involved is so great it can only increase as will the accusations.
