I find the web confusing

I thought that Diamond only sold direct, with Glen touring the country creating perfection. Says so on the web site

DIAMOND distributes products factory direct to the consumer

http://www.diamondbilliards.net/

Then I run into this.
Sears is selling Diamond Pro-Ams

http://www.sears.com/shc/s/p_10153_12605_SP100A783S170526065P#desc

I think I heard that Gabriels Signature Pro tables are now bolted together at the purchaser's location.
But the Gabriels website states:

Welded steel frame: 5/16” U-beams for the ultimate slate support,

http://www.gabrielsbilliards.com/pool/

So what say you authorities?

Cool, I wonder if Glen can get me the employee discount on some Craftsman tools? :D

This is a Sears website that works like Amazon or Wal-Mart . Next to the table is a link to Christophers , which is the one actually selling the table .

Its not so far fetched that Sears would sell that table though. After all Wal Mart sell Schon cues now

Wal-Mart doesn't sell them in their store . Think these are called storefronts , Wal-Mart just facilitates the sale . They probably handle the transaction and the company or person selling the cue pays a fee to Wal-Mart.

In essence Wal-mart is serving as sort of an EBAY with out the auction feature so small businesses can sell stuff through their website , another way to make money.

yeah, he gave up on pool tables, they are too heavy. he is gonna be a stock boy in the soap/paper/pet department-lots easier on his back.:D

love ya buddy:thumbup:

Mixed results for RKC at Sears

He leveled all the sales counters...
,,but he totally misunderstood what was in the 'dolly' department..

and when an employee had an accident but was said to be 're-covering'...
..he said "I better show him how to do it.":D

ITGOD's (in the good old days) many could not live without a Sears Mail Order Catalogue, you could buy a Kit Home, Chickens, Livestock, a Motorscooter, Allstate Car (made by Heney J) a Shotgun, Rifle, and just about anything.

Walmart sells SCHON CUES at their Web-site.

So true. And when the new catalog came out, the old one went out back.
That is until they came out with shiny pages. Those weren't much good for anything.

This thread aside it is really cool if you can actually buy a good errr great table at Sears. This is awesome. Hopefully they will have other quality items and possibly support pro pool. Great news...

all independents will fall to the big boxes. it's only a matter of time. How about: Walmart Ford, Chevy, and GM or Walmart Custom Homes.;)
