Is Stupid Stamped On My Forehead?

Purd, since we haven't met in person yet, I can't tell you what is written on your forehead. Best thing to do is check a mirror. If you see diputs.....then I'd have to say yes, but someone trying to jack up the price probably didn't see "stupid" but "sucker" (rekcus in the mirror). They say there's one born every day, but based on your post I'd have to say you must have been born at night...;)

Good of you to offer a loan, but after someone has tried to take advantage, I would have told him to hit the bricks....Which is a nice way to say pack sand, which is a nice way to say stuff it where the sun don't shine...

You're one of the good, honest guys in this racket. It is a shame that someone would mistake your kindness for weakness, or perhaps stupidity. Situations like this tell us who our real friends are! Stay up, and don't sweat this at all.

Sounds like your friend, who at one time could afford a half million in cues is having a rough time if he is now sweating one cue...and fighting over an extra $200. Karma can be tough, can't it?

ThanksMatt, he did a simular thing to me on a Black Boar a few years ago. I now realize it is all about the money with him! Always has been. You would not believe how many people think that just because I made out with the Open that I have some money for the first time. You remember the story about the $68,000 in one day. I have five times the Open score in liquid cash. I try to be a wise investor. It has to be win/win with me or I don't play. I also go to work everyday and earn it. I do not cast my pearls among swine. Somebody tought me that a long time ago in Sunday school.

Well....not to get too deep into your business, but I know you weren't exactly struggling before the open..LOL. Guess some people "assumed" otherwise. Better you find it out now I guess.
