Thanks!

Good stuff.

Before my last computer crash I had some of the wonderful TAR Matches that CSI used to put on and they were great pool by great players.

About 6 years ago Efren and Shane matched up over three days for 8 Ball, 10 Ball and One Pocket. Efren only won the One Pocket and he did not run away with it. Efren shot pretty good pool six years ago.

Shane is now six years smarter and who knows how good he would be in that game if he got hungry and went after it. I think he needs to if he wants to go down in history as the "Goat".

That young German guy named Filler is crazy accurate and fearless. He should only get smarter. If he can keep the mental toughness needed to compete at the level he is currently playing at, he will solidify his place in pool history in 9 and 10 Ball.

I hope in the next couple of years he devotes time to some One Pocket match ups with top players. With his pocketing skills he is a threat to any one. If he truly learns how to play One Pocket it would help his defensive play in other games.

Seems like fire power is more important than the "moves". Dennis, Shane and Alex have done exceptionally well against the so called one pocket experts.

I wouldn't put Shane in the same class as Alex and DO , I think Tony was beating Shane pretty easy last time they hooked up ,, I don't think Shane beats Roberto either , Roberto has already beat Trex in smaller sets for a decent chunk of change I'm told ,

I'm not so sure he does long set just yet , but IMHO it's not if but when he can
I've heard Filler mentioned as someone who can be a contender in the future,
I'll add the young man who just won the WPA 9 ball to that list
, Fedor has rediculas skills and a superb safety game I can see him being a great one pocket player in the future also

Shane played T-rex two sets race to 10. I think first went 10-9, and second 10-7 or 10-8.

DO was 10 ahead on T-rex at around 25-15, that's how strong Dennis plays 1p.

Alex is a super beast in 1p. Gave Justin Hall in his homeroom weight and still slaughtered him. Justin was barking on FB about playing anyone anytime in his homeroom for 10K.

I'll take Shane for 5k over Roberto.

Just an offer

Alex > Dennis > Tony > Shane/Corey - the rest aren't getting there except for a PPV appearance fee chop.

Notice how the name Scott Frost isn't in the mix? A few years ago it was.

Hell yes!!! A living legend and the most creative player on the planet
These 2 were the finals of Derby One Pocket this year. Corey won the first 2 then Busty won 3 to close out.

Corey made it to the finals of the Buffalo's $2000 entry One Pocket before losing to Alex Pagulayan. This is a tough one to call. 100%.

This is going to be a good match.

Yes sir, a match for the ages. Neither of these guys get the credit they deserve and they are both Giants of the game.

Sorry but I dont agree, you are close though:thumbup:

Dennis beats Alex everyday and then Shane playing a little 1 pckt moves him up, and who the hell knows what Corey will show up - he may beat everybody on the planet easily

"Everyday"???? Kinda doubt that.

Trex and Danny was 2017 at Goodtimez in Huntsville, Alabama.

Played Danny at 10 ball and 1hole. He beat me pretty bad at 1hole but, I managed to come out ahead in 10 ball.

Played trex a set of 1hole...lol.....it was brutal. He wouldn't play 10 ball.

Superman was same year at the same place a few months later. He was with two other guys. Dont remember the other two people's names but, one of them played pretty sporty.

BTW, Superman and I played 10 ball but, by then....I had stopped playing 1hole. I absolutely HATE that game.

I can play 1hole with most any amateur to weaker shortstop but, it's all I can do to stay awake while watching my opponent spend 5 minutes trying to decide what he's gonna do.....and then walk up to table and roll the CB 2" to a rail.

Snooze fest....

Jeff
