Is the US past record in the Mosconi Cup a true reflection??

If Europe goes on to win today that will make it 7 of the last 8 MC's for Team Europe. I guess the real question would be..... "What needs to be done to bring up the level of pool in the US". Although I applaud Mark's efforts this year the issue really is much deeper than bringing in a Navy Seal and having team practices...

Yeah I agree, it's the whole infrastructure of US pool. There are a few regional tournaments and tours, and one joke of a major, and not much else.

They could start by using our best players. Sitting out Dechaine made no sense . I respect Mark but every human makes mistakes and he made 1 in this decision

I agree that Mark left no wiggle room to make a change/add a player who happened to be "hot" at the time of the MC.

But if you look deeper than that (as I have said in other posts) Europe could put a "B" and possibly a "C" team together who will most likely still beat the US..

Again, just my opinion but I don't think I am far off..

Wrong If you think OMGWTH put it on Mike about his big head during the Shane match
This group would have made it burst like a pimple

we didnt see anyone play their best except maybe appleton.I normally dont care what happens at the mc but paid more attention this year I am disappointed more because of the level of play. everyone from team usa is more than capable of winning race to fives against anyone on the planet and thats what we were hoping to see

You can't pass over multiple players with vastly superior talent. This was a slaughter. Take all this new age management and toss it in the trash.

Nice to see Mr. Wilson and his wife get a trip to Europe though. She was very festive.
