Is there another tournament at same time as SBE?

I think most pool players wait until the very last minute to commit to anything and even after they do a lot of times they show up late too.

Never understood that with anyone and anything.

I believe there's a tournament out west that's paying pretty good and a good many are going there instead of the expo.

The SBE isn't a tournament you can fly to.....not enough money.
...most pros play if they're in the area......
...or have appearance money with the exhibitors.

Tell them the tournament is a week earlier.....some would still be late

Yet many do for a first place 10 k thier notorious for a slow update on their web page even if it gives a date

Here we have 3 events in a 16-day period in reasonable geographical proximity:

• March 30 - April 2: SBE Pro Players Championship -- 29 players registered as of 3/1

• April 5 - 8: World Pool Series 2nd event -- 87 registered as of 2/13

• April 10 - 14: US Open Straight Pool Championship -- 2 registered currently
