No, but it sounds a lil bit of 90/90 aiming but not quite. Sounds like you have alot of misinformation. Stop reading Dr. Dave's misguided info on pivot systems and just buy the Pro One DVD. Pocket is to the left of the ob.
Bridge slightly to the left of the center of the cueball ( lined up to the edge of the ob ) then pivot to the center of the cueball. Tip now lines up a little outside of the edge of the ob.
Ball goes in.

Thnx.But it's not CTE because CTE requires the starting point to be the edge of the object ball.

The shot pictured in your diagram is actually a bit thinner than a half-ball aim -- it's a 32.3 degree cut. Plus you may need to aim it even a bit thinner than that to allow for collision-induced throw. But with CTE/Pro1, none of that matters.![]()

The shot pictured in your diagram is actually a bit thinner than a half-ball aim -- it's a 32.3 degree cut. Plus you may need to aim it even a bit thinner than that to allow for collision-induced throw. But with CTE/Pro1, none of that matters.![]()
