I recently bought some original photos, (not wire photos) of Willie Hoppe and an undentified woman. I read where Willie Hoppe was married at one time and there is not much out there to research this subject. Check out this link in the fifth paragraph:
Anyways, does anyone out there recognize the woman in the pics of Willie?

Willie is holding the cue on the balance pt. his bridge hand is close to the ball and tight. Only the first 2 fingers and thumb. Teacup pinky. You can hit the balls a ton. I just cann't help but comment he has written words in the b enc trying to give the players advice, giving back to a sport that gave him everything. SWEET PICS. advice you can take to the bank. Hoppe also has sound reasoning about shooting with centerball and 1cue tip of english .Its that simple anybody listening

surprisingly hard to see any info at all about his wife online. I saw one tiny reference that in 1927 she formally separated from him. Can't find a pic or any other reference, or even a real name (she's referred to as "Mrs. Willie Hoppe" in the separation blurb). Might be Mary?
