Is anyone else not able to access Yahoo? I can't get my mail and our website won't come up.

Still no go.

Wonder why it works for you guys.

Nothing comes up with IE7 or Opera.

It's down for me. This might actually be unprecedented.
Its a trip. One of the reasons I went with Yahoo for web hosting (other than I have no clue about web hosts) is that I figured "Hey, it's Yahoo, at least I know its gonna work"

Fooled again.

It looks like it's back up now. Seriously, if yahoo is down, there must be something REALLY wrong.

Still no joy.

How the hell did I live without the internet. I haven't been able to get my mail for 30 minutes and I'm having an anxiety attack. :D

i'm in germany if that matters and checked it a couple more times and also followed a couple links and it was normal. dunno, i'm on a 2 year old sony laptop in a hotel

Thanks for everyones help. Guess I'll just sweat it out.

Think I'm gonna go look outside and make sure the sun came up.

Holy crap. One of my clients has Yahoo e-mail, and I just e-mailed a job that they were anxiously awaiting for. If they don't get it, I will have to actually drive downtown amd hand-deliver it.

AzBilliards keeps me up to date on other happenings besides pool, which is kind of cool. :p

Yahoooooo!!!!

It's up. Sweet. Now I'll just clean up all this hair I pulled out.

Thanks everyone.

yahoo contracts out all its webhosting and domain services , they do NOT have their own facilities for servers nor are they an accredited ICANN domain registrar, just another way for them to make a buck , so when you host your website with yahoo it is actually hosted with a 3rd party, so when something happens its a nightmare, you yell at yahoo then they take a few days to answer you, then they forward that email to the server contractor , then that contractor sends that email to support in India , then that guy tries to answer you a few days after that in broken english , then you tell him whats wrong , then that guy has no clue and forwards that message back to the 3rd party hosting provider and then they try to get one of the techies out of the cafateria from eating his pizza to go and take a look see, then that guy has no clue so he reboots the server to see if it will work now , and if it don't then he emails back to the guy in India that he is working on it , then that guy emails yahoo that a service ticket has been opened and to inform their client , now you get that back from yahoo a week or 2 later and your still stuck , meanwhile they guy goes back to finish his pizza.

if you think I am kidding , I AM NOT !
