There are some good webhosting companies out there and it is hard to recommend one over another, sometimes its price people want and others are willing to pay the premium for top notch services , I have been with hostgator.com for years , and I went for price , but they have done me well for a budget hosting company , although an occasional blip their support has been outstanding, they have their own servers monitered and managed 24/7 and always take care of your concerns direct from one of their techs within 24 hours, but there are others out there higher priced but maybe a bit more reliable like atjeu.com , its a happy medium I guess.
 
I don't use yahoo. Hooked up with one my son in law made arrangements with ---- was down for over a week when they did an upgrade. Beyond mad - no heads up no apology.
 
Awhile back I couldn't access yahoo mail from the US site. I just went to one of other non US sites and logged in just fine. Just a thought...

I love "My Yahoo!" page. Handy as a pocket on a shirt and reliable.:) Works great as your home page.
 
JCIN - put your money on someone local but with redundancy, tripple if you can afford it. DC's screw up all the time, trippin cables, pulling the wrong cable, maintaining the wrong site and so on. Redundancy and customer service would be my bet.
 
yahoo mail goes down about once every 2-3 months or so, it may be because they were changing logins or a server could of been down, if u can't access yahoo mail regularly u can try through http://wap.oa.yahoo.com it's a completely different login with a completely different style of yahoo mail

LOL , Bval I was one of those that they just pushed through with passing grades:( shows doesn't it?
 
Yahoo goes down entirely, possibly due to DOS attacks. They had a big one a couple of years ago that lasted a while, and about a week ago there was an outage that lasted maybe 10 minutes. For some reason they get targeted.

I guess it's possible they're just screwups too :P
 
My email and such works on Yahoo. Can't say the same thing about Yahoo games.

Anybody else out there who has been banned from Yahoo Hearts ? twice lately somebody has banned me for 3 days ????? :mad:

Guess they don't like the way I play...lol !
