Issue with slow rolls

Oh and another thing this is definitely the type of shot where progressive drills are the best (if they aren't on all types of shots). I'll start with the cue ball frozen (or very nearly frozen) to the side rail and the object ball somewhere below the spot and halfway between the pocket and the cue ball. Then I'll roll it in and continue working my way around the table in this fashion. If you can get all the way to the far end rail you're stroking the ball great. Doing this progressively will give you a good idea of where your stroke is at. If most players were forced to jump on the table and attempt to master the table length slow rolled shot they would get so frustrated they would quit the game. Doing it progressively is the key.

First - you should not have a problem with this shot. Shoot it over and over.

Try shooting a ton of shots with the cueball froze to the rail. Start with shooting balls in the side then keep getting longer till you're shooting the length of the table.

Forgot what 2nd was gonna be. Lol. Thats enough for now anyway

Lol. Only read the first few posts.

And you, Jason, are an expert instructor, I see. You do realize that this is the Ask the Instructor forum, right?
