The tip is gone? Really? It got "ware" on it? Really? :yikes: He didn't mention it might have a bit of a roll....I feel dizzy...palpitations....

Stick a fork in it.

All the king's horses and all the king's men...etc...

If it was a horse I would shoot it.

Not even a good tomato stake.

DOA

Flatline

Pull the plug.

Put it out of it's misery.

First Challenge:

If a cue maker can make a reasonable cue out of this, that looks good, is still full splice, looks like a Titlist, and can play properly, I'll buy it from him. And that cue maker will be the champion of all the universe in my book. ( and no, he can't just replace everything, LOL!) :D

Second challenge:

If anybody here has ever seen a worse example of a Titlist I want to know about it. And I might not believe it without pictures.

He looses hundreds of points for myriad reasons, but gets one back for not taking the last picture in bare feet.

I've repaired guitars that were worse, but the tip wasn't missing.

I'd like to know how he was able to get the camera crew from
Monster Quest to help him take all those amazing photos.

Let's put it this way, to do a restoration or conversion on this cue...... well, it's going to end up a small diameter. And a good deal of wood filler...... and possibly some more...

Was this salvaged from the Titanic?

Small Diameter?
A Titlist toothpick? :grin-square:

Ill add points for the jailbird slip-ons he was wearing. Looks kike he pulled it outta tha crick out yonder.

I would like to see a cue maker take you up on this. Post it in the cue maker section.

Really?

That seems so straight forward...like you are serious.

The cue makers probably already think I have a loose weight bolt.

I post that thing and they are liable to ask for my execution!

Should I dare?

I wasn't serious. I just wanted to see what some of their responses would be. That thing looks like good kindling. ROFL!!!!

Oh thank Gawd. :)

I was really concerned I might not survive the execution.

That would be like "Hey y'all, watch this!" or "Hold my beer for a minute" Then...youtube redneck fame.

Good kindling?

Now, I am no expert, but we do get some fires going here and have a few beers in the evenings. And as far as I can tell, kindling should be dry. That thing looks kind of wet...like they just pulled it out of a creek or something. Or maybe a sewer?

By the way, look at the end where the shaft was cut off. See those markings? It looks like somebody was using this for a toilet plunger handle!

I seem that cue....easily the saddest specimen ever...I'd buy it just to give it a proper burial.

Poolroom archeology. Excavated under a wooden floor after a poolroom burned. The rubble remained undisturbed for several years until the lot was sold at a tax auction. Boards pulled up near an old porcelain toilet, revealed a hidden space, which contained the Titlist, a pair of brass knuckles, a set of loaded dice, a handcuff key, a switchblade knife along with counterfeit quarters and nickles that each had two heads or two tails.

You guys are being a little harsh, don't you think? Looks like all that cue needs is a new cue.

I will say that even on my worst day at 2 am drunk and closing down the bar, I wouldn't bring that cue home with me.

How did that decal survive?

There lies a mystery. I have seen fairly nice condition Titlists with worse decals. How in the heck did the decal survive whatever this cue went through?

That begs the questions: Are the police looking for this cue? Is it perhaps evidence in a crime investigation? Was is used as a weapon? Is that why it was buried? Can that explain why it is cracked in the middle, it was used as a club to crush some poor victim's skull?
