It it uptight to be worried about teams buying each other drinks in league?

Wow, you are just a troll. I pointed out that he was being disrespectful because his teammates are counting on him for putting forth at least some effort towards a simple task, then you and your buddy go all spaz because you think I'm acting like it's the end of the world over a regular league match. It was playoffs and he said the guy appeared on his way to getting drunk before even playing. You nutjobs go off and say I'm a stick in the mud and crap like that. I just expect people not to screw off basic things when they can wait an hour to get wasted. It's not a hard concept to understand. "That guy".. you're just a tool, because you don't even know what the hell you're talking about, but you insist on still talking.

Again, you advocate being the bar drunk police to watch your teammates because OMG an opponent bought them a drink! Horror of horrors! And how dare a player have a few shots when it is something life and death like league playoffs. I mean everyone knows league playoffs are Serious Business.

It's also pretty hilarious how your sig quotes Keither when he was well known for playing fast and loose and with a skinful. If he was on your Important League Team you'd have had a coronary. :lol:

Oh, you mean waiting until he's done playing is so freaking difficult? You must be proud of being a disappointment to others. I learned to play in a busy drinking bar. I don't need silence, I don't need stone-cold sobriety or any of that. It's basic respect not to get drunk before doing something that involves other people relying on you. Your parents didn't teach you very well, I'd guess.

We're not talking top-tier gambler. We're talking 3s, 4s, 5s, etc, whose games drop like a brick when they're drunk. Keith could play like Keith under those conditions. Joe Blow couldn't play like Miss Daisy under those conditions.

Funny how you failed to mention how good you are after your years of playing. Didn't like that topic, eh?

We're not talking top-tier gambler. We're talking 3s, 4s, 5s, etc, whose games drop like a brick when they're drunk. Keith could play like Keith under those conditions. Joe Blow couldn't play like Miss Daisy under those conditions.

I'll take just about any shot you put in front of me. PBR and EW is my typical round. I prefer people to drink with me, though. A couple of people on here have drank with me and played, so it isn't like I'm a party pooper. Quite the opposite.. given the chance, I'll get tore up and talk smack to the whole room. I can put on a good show sometimes. ;)

This really wasn't supposed to get blown out of proportion. I just don't think it's respectful to get drunk before a match that has something riding on it. I've been drunk for my fair share of regular season matches, as have my teammates from various teams. I wait until after my match to get straight drunk if it matters for the team's future, though.

Once more, are you the drunk police? Do you breath test your teammates before their league matches? Seeing a guy doing a few shots....omg! He might be impaired for league play!

So now you are scouting everyone and determining who is allowed to drink and play, and who isn't. Also note how before you were harping about how critically important league playoffs were, and now well that doesn't matter if the player is good enough. Do you know the player the OP was referencing and how well they play on the sauce? No? Then congrats, you're a hypocrite also.

Probably because I don't feel the need to armchair warrior and e-tough-guy and try to brag like a little kid. Tell all of us scrubs some more about your epic eight years of important league play, that stuff is impressive. :D
