IT was I who sent Travis a PM

Who wants to bet if "He" works at the department of motor vehicles?:D you can't scratch your butt without filling out a form there!

Oh, and the law about name usage without asking, is right next to the law about bearded ladies can't be out in public!:D

I honestly thought that he was joking ...

And I honestly think you were right. I think the entire Travis Trotter persona is a joke. I think he enjoys seeing what responses his posts will elicit, and crafts them very carefully to be hilariously poorly written and invite as many sarcastic/tongue-in-cheek/bordering-on-mean replies as possible. And I have to say it's working; these are some very amusing threads.

Do NOT send your completed PM Permission Request Form to Travis as that will be in violation of the PM Copyright Law of 2006. Send your completed PM Permission Request Forms only to those already having Approved PM Permission status. They will forward your PM Permission Request on for processing. If you do not know who already has Approved PM Permission status, you may send Travis a PM requesting a list.
Thank you for your cooperation.
:D
That only applies if you fill out the PM/PMS form #69.71 If this form is used, all other forms MUST be accompanied by the finger.

Back to the orignal question.

Did he respond with a answer or was it that he was stumped and decided to have some fun with it?

He never gave me an answer PLUS he never replied.

AND here is another thought - I do have a friend who just bought a cuetec and I thought I would hit some balls with it. Keep in mind he just bought it ... I rolled it on the table and the damn shaft was crooked, it was all wobble wobble. I thought it was impossible for them to warp???

Hmmmm, Allison must have trademarked the name. Oy vey.

I'm sorry to inform you that "oy vey" has been trademarked by Rabbi Emanuel Goldfarb and there is a $10 royalty owed for every time it is used.

Please pay this fee to the Lingusitics Department of the Amusement Tax Association of America. And the same goes for "meshuganah". You can say "matzah" though anytime you like.

When i first read the thread i thought it was a joke too. Too bad it's been removed, it was actually one of the funniest threads on here. BTW, what came the 1st the PM or the PM asking for permission. But you can't PM him without asking permission in the 1st place. Sounds like, "what came 1st the chicken or the egg."

What happened in this instance could be that the cue wasn't warped but the joint pin wasn't aligned rite or could be crooked. This would make the cue wobble even if both shaft and butt were straight.

Travis Trotter

Yeah - he gets a bad rap, Travis does. His humor cracks me up. Its great entertainment. The way he rags on Fisher, Earl and cuetec is just too much. You know what would be ironic - if Travis was Fisher or Earl posting.

I've also read that the taper on some cuetecs is inconsistant and can sometimes have "bumps" that can cause a cue to roll wobbley. of course that was from some guy on e-bay that sells a pile of them.

I dont know how Allison Fisher plays with em. I guess if you are that talented you can play with anything.

Allison and Cuetec

Maybe they make a couple of good ones especially for her. I guess anything is possible.

A job for Travis

I think I know y Travis gets so upset when someone talks about Allison. I bet it is his job to hunt thru all those C Q trying to find one that she is willing to shoot with. It must get very frustrating. :D Can u imagine the work that must b involved in that?

LOL .. I can see that.

Hey everyone have a great weekend ... play good and make some $$.

Travis I hope you have the best weekend. Allison Fisher is playing in a tournament right now and is holding on the winners side ... OH and there should be some new WPBA on ESPN soon ..... ENJOY BUD-O !!! Later

It's not arrogance, it's..... (thinking of a nice way to put it)..... having a simple mind. That's about as PC as I can get and still get the point across. ;)

I believe the PC term is "short bus alumni".

Allison & Earl are not playing with stock cuetechs. Their shafts are wood but I do not know what brand of shafts they use.

The only work done on Earls cue that I know of is by himself.... he tapes the "wrap" of his cue with what appears to be the kind of tape they wrap a tennis racket with.

:p

As Timberly states, Earl does contour his cue to his liking. It is a Cutec shaft but not anything near what Cutec sells. Allsion's is also alterered, but not in the same crude fashion that Earl's is....
