Just HAD to let out the ivory jointed cue that Barry made.

B A R R Y!!.... WHERE YA HIDIN'!!...THIS just hits toooo good. It's tellin' me it wants to stay "out"

Im used to playing with great playing cues so I feel right at home with this one...Yeah nice

Everytime I think I have a nice decent collection you guys pull out the big big boys and I'm put in my place again, lol. Sick cue.

My god, when did this enter the collection? Looks like black and white veneers in the points, but a little hard to tell. I can tell I would like the butt dimensions, just by looking at the pictures.

All the best

Thanks for the nice comments guys!

Hoot, this cue is right up your alley, 1.29 cap and .844 joint..Might be too light for you though .. Actually this is Matt's (Bava) dream cue cue being an Ivory jointed Szam at only 18.7oz! The veneers are black, holly, lt. blue, holly... First time Barry ever did that combo. From what I understand there is only one other time he used that combo. For esthetically beautiful protection, Barry added his Ivory caps too.

Ive had the cue for a while now. It's been my "pacifier" until Barry can get to the cue he is making for me. THAT cue is gonna mean a lot to me. It's replacing a cue I had of his dad's that burned up in a car fire.:(... Very unlikely and strage situation....

Now I see the light blue with the Holly. Great look all the way around. You're right, I like those dimensions.

All the best,
H

You Aren't Kidding.........Indeed, It Definitely Is.........

Well,

Gotta say that Tim spoke a mouthful when he wrote it's my dream cue.......my cue Magi are Hercek, Tibbitts & Prewitt.........I never included Barry S. in my list since the cues he's made that I admire are all way over ten grand........Heck, for way under $10k, I can get lots of fancy cues that I liked made by Joel, Danny or Ed.........but not one of Barry's.

Congrats to skins for having what might be one of the very few Szamboti cues made weighing under 19 ounces.........Yahoo Brother.....what a darling cue to own. and play with.

Even though it's a bit on the light side, my bet is that it's well balanced with the ivory joint.

I had to post because i usually dont play with cues under 19. Just too light. BUT Ive been changng my tune a lttle since Joey (Cognoscenti) has been preachin to me about how well lighter cues play if they're "setup" with that in mind. Now youd have to ask Joe for back story on that but all I can say is this cue feels so nice when it hits the balls. It has nearly the exact same deflection as my full splice sneaky Keith made me AND hits very similar oddly enough. :confused:That hits em sporty too.

Tim, this is a great looking Barry. It is also a surprise as I was unaware of this one in your bag of tricks. Congratulations!
