It's beginning to look a lot like Christmas!

Very nice indeed

I would venture a guess as to say that this is the nicest Klein cue in existance. If someone has one they think is better I would love to see pictures.

Thanks for the kind words guys and Merry Christmas to you, too!

By the way, Kevin, Steve did send me some more pics of another Bushka tribute that he did which was really fancy, too. I like mine better, but he does do some nice work!

We are working on that as we speak lol... But this cue looks awfully familiar to me.

I believe that was probably the first Bushka style cue Steve done for a customer. It also ended up pictured on his site. I am really glad it ended up in some good hands, it is a great cue. I have dealt with a lot of cue makers, and Steve is my fav to work with. He listens to what the customer wants and is a pleasure to deal with, as in the end, the customer is the one who has to use it and like it. That cue I had modeled after my all time favorite Balabushka (the forearm and rings anyways). Not often you see a Bushka with green, black, green, black veneers ehhh? Another closet cue you could say. Steve builds a great looking and hitting cue, and that is why I got him working on another :-) Though my next one will have an oval Bushka name plate with my name engraved (so as not to sell it lol) and some original Cortland linen I have been keeping for something good.

Ladies and gentlemen, we have the right suspect! John Showman and Matt24 have both figured it out for us. Steve Klein in VA made this cue. It is absolutely gorgeous and plays every bit as good as it looks (hits a ton, Jimbo!). The detail in this cue is phenomenal! The ebony is jet black and the maple forearm doesn't have a birdseye to be found. The ringwork really sets the cue off and isn't found in a lot of the usual tribute cues that I see on the market. We usually only see Steve's sneaky petes, so I just wanted to share some of the work he's really capable of... Thanks for playing! Rep points to anyone I can give them to (sorry ScottR, they say I have to spread them around a little first).

That Showman guy always knows more than he lets on . . . . .

Beautiful cue and great work, Mr. Klein!
