It's George Cases Are Back?

I just read on 2 different billiard supply websites that Mike Roberts is bringing back It's George cases.

Is this a fact or are they just trying to get rid of their old Brunswick stock?

I LOVE MY IT'S GEORGE CASE

Old as crap but still looks good.

They have been "back" for about two years now.

Reviews have been mixed. I believe that the remaining Brunswick stock has been in someone else's hands for many years now.
 
New It's George

Can anyone explain the differences with the new cases or why they haven't caught on. They look like he took design cues from the older cases with nicer end caps and such, so what is it about the new cases that are causing mixed reviews and preventing them from selling on a high level?

PM is fine if someone doesn't feel like sharing details in public.

My personal theory is that not enough people know about them. A lot of the young players today were kids when It's George stopped the first time. Also they were only picked up by a few dealers so not much exposure. Try Omega Billiards to see some of the new It's George cases.
 
I have seen the NEW GENERATION of George CASES, IMHO they are not like the Old Brunswicks Cases, they are marginal.

IMHO I personally would rather buy a GTF, or Ron Thomas for the extra GREEN, and have a Quality Product!

I had one of the new George cases and liked it. The leather quality was very nice, and it was well constructed.

I ended up selling it because I like a 59" cue, and with a joint protector on the butt, the case would not close.

I like Whitten cases MUCH better, but the George cases are nice.
