Whats the freaking reserve?

I guess I dont understand the purpose of reserve auctions.

Start it out at your "reserve" and let it go.

I don't understand it either! I ran four cues for the last five days with no reserve. I sold one at the last minute for my bare bones asking price. I relisted two of the cues with a reserve earlier today and already have bids and almost the same number of "watchers" as I had after five days the other way. I think people just need to see others bidding to make them feel like they are bidding on something desirable...??? I actually give the reserve to anyone who asks...

Hi,

I just wanted to let everyone know that Ebay pulled this auction because I had used the verbage "Traditional Szamboti Style" in my title. They feel I was key word spamming, or some such nonsense. I couldn't even see the bidder list to let everyone know what happened, as it had been deleted. I was also hesitant to put it back on, as people tend to think that if Ebay pulled your auction, there must be something wrong with the cue. Anyways, I had been approached by several AZB folks, so I sold it to the highest bidder from here. I thank everyone who had interest in the cue, and apologize that I "didn't have enough to go around" for everyone!

ebay doesnt like it when you use another brand name to compare something in the title.. they say you are "allowed" to compare it to one other item in the sub title and the description... if you take that out of the title.. you should have no problems..
