It's George Cue

I just got back from picking up my shaft, now i just need to find a bumper for it and also get it wrapped. Thinking for sending it to Proficient Billiards in Pa, i seen some other work and it looks amazing. They have been suggested to me a few times already. Im excited to finally getting this thing put back together.

I'm sure Proficient can hook you up w/bumper too........

What a load of bullshit.

It looks like they have a friendly resolution to this. Why stir the pot?

Just a thought. I would hate to see anything dragged into this about OB cues etc. As far as I can see they have a solid reputation.

We see such things as this come up occasionally. At least this one has a happy ending and the cue is returned. From what it sounds like it's possible the cue will be able to be made perfect again. So, all's well that ends well.

Everything has been worked out, Like it was said by Royce and I this was well before OB Cues, I never wanted to mention the name of the individual but Royce came out and said it himself which was something he did on his own and i have nothing but respect for him. I have the cue & shaft back and its all coming together, I'm excited to get this back to playing condition cause me and this cue have been through a lot together. I see Royce as a personal friend and still to this day have a custom cue and breack cue that was hand made by him.

Crap, did not see there was a second page reading this on my phone.

If it is all good then disregard my post. If you need any help you have my contact.

Well, points for owning up to it.

"Since this was a personal transaction between myself and Jeff, long before OB Cues ever came to be, I won't use any of OB Cues resources to finish the cue. It really doesn't have anything to do with OB Cues."

^^^ This part seems a little off though. Granted, the cue had nothing to do with OB, but now you have a far greater ability to deliver on YOUR promise and finish what you started. If it were me, I'd knock that out with the quickness just to get that guilt ridden honor monkey off my back. But I'm all about my word, others mileage may vary.

BTW, I'm strongly considering a few of your Classic Pro's. As we've not yet met, are you the owner or an agent of OB?

Best regards.

I understand, but please keep in mind that, although I am an owner of OB Cues, I'm not the only one. Sorry, but I don't spend my partners money on personal things. It's just not good business. If I could do it myself I'd be happy to, but I just don't have time.

As for keeping it around for the last 10 years or so, I'm guess I'm just that way.

I'm glad I found the shaft and that Jeff is happy. I feel better that it's back to it's rightful owner.

You have enough integrity to keep someone else's cue for 8 years and not sell it off, but not enough to offer to actually complete the refinish with your resources available? What a load of bullshit.

Wow, I'm sorry that it upsets you so much.

The thing is, I have business partners.

OB Cues business is OB Cues business, and this isn't OB Cues business. My business partners shouldn't have to foot the bill for finishing it.

My obligation to finish this cue, much less hang on to it for 10 years, ended long ago. I'm happy to forfeit the work that I did and get the cue back to Jeff.

If that's a load of BS, then so be it.
