Oh I later realized that you were referring to the locks, lol! (I actually know what a diary lock is buddy,I own 2 Fellini cases) Just didn't reply because I didn't want to prolong the agony of my post. Jeez.If a couple thousand words (2 pictures) don't make it clear.....
Yes sir,I understand it has some "love" marks, all my cases have them. Thanks for your input, I think I will just give it away.in any case a beat up old case doesnt have much value. current players want pockets and collectors want pristine.
you might get a hundred or so from someone.
Nice! Mine is leather I've been told. Many of the older series “It’s George” cases had genuine leather exteriors.
I have seen a few such cases. I had a beauty with an ostrich look once.
I have seen a few vinyl cases too. Not for me. Here’s the case I owned that was top grain leather.

I actually have an It's George clasp but the chrome is worn away. It was on a Fellini case attached by 4 small screws. I still have it in my junk.I have a case EXACTLY like this one -- worn and all also! The clasp on mine is not always 100% reliable which is the real reason I stopped using it. There is nothing worse than having the top of your case come loose and your cue come clattering out on the curb as you are putting it in your vehicle!!
