Steve your cue is ready!!! Red Hot Flame 4 point John Davis Fullsplice with a Wrapless Ebony handle and 4 reverse points in the buttsleve. Total of 8 points. Ivory joint and Buttcap. Silver stitch MOP slot rings. Sorry but my pics currently aren't the best, but working on fixing that real soon.

Great looking cue! Finished it off nicely. I often wonder why John Davis runs his points so high now though. I had to specifically ask him to go much further down on the one I had him build. But it was one I was going to use in a classic design as well.
 
I agree the old classic cues had the short points like the old palmers. I definatly not trying to be old school on this cue. Thanks for the positive comments!

Thanks Deanoc! I'm currently working in a blue flame cue (butane) that will be a similiar style.
 
For those who have asked... The Butane Blue Flame cue does not have a deposit on it as of yet. Ringwork, joint & butt material, etc. could still be preferenced.
