To my fellow posters, thanks to each of you for the kudos.
This was a very interesting event. Managed to cash in the Open. Played reasonably well. Was somewhat overshadowed by a disputed call by a referee to end the first set of the money round. Know I made a good hit. The ref agreed and called it good. My opponent disagreed. Know it affected his performance through out the second set. Really didn't want to win like that. Oh well. Don't the rolls always even out?
The Seniors was another story. A few of you might have watched as I crashed and burned my second match. Must have missed at least 10 reasonably easy shots. Scratched at least five times. It wasn't pretty.
The Supers were played by my alter ego. Played the most consistant pool I can remember. Never trailed. Never lost a set. Eddie Richardson played excellent pool in the finals. This was his second time to the finals in the last four years. Sincerely hope he wins one. He deserves all the praise I can give him. A true gentleman and a great player!
