You and your team is in fro a great time ! Make sure you check out Freemont Street at night . Thats where we had the most fun ,besides the poolrooms .

Great accomplishment!! Sorry to hear about your team mate....hope she pulls through!!:(

I have a Time Share in Vegas. I will tell you that the best buffets are at any of the station casinos. Sunset, Main Street etc. Don't gamble at the Golden Nugget...Odds are against you. If you get a chance go downtown and see the "Freemont Street Experience" it's great and FREE!! If your into some great thrill rides visit the top of the Stratosphere or New York, New York's roller coaster!! The Orleans is one of the BEST places to gamble. It's a few miles west of the strip. I have been out to Vegas more times than I can count. If you have any questions, I'll will try to help. Unfortunately my team has never won the trip to Vegas, but we've come very close. I've been warned that many APA level 3s in Vegas can "Break & Run" several games in a row!! Good Luck
 
Wow Congrats, This is great news. Keep it up with that team. There is nothing feels as good as winning something by a TEAM. I know how it feels.

Yep.

But it's still fun anyway. Look at it this way, you've won a trip to go hang out in Vegas and play some pool with friends. The rest is gravy from here.

Sounds like a good idea Erik. A few years ago at the nationals, we had an agreed upon time to meet for some AZ'ers and the only one who showed was Cory in DC who just so happened to have been from Chicago. Small world. It was nice to sit and bs with him though. :)

Beware of attractive single women hitting on you at the Casino bar between 4:00am - 7:00am...:)

Luckily, I made it my first year, so I'll be there also. Congrats, congrats, congrats. Its a bear making it. Everyone competes their brains out. SL3's that break and run multiple racks ? Oh well, won't be me! (and I'm an SL5) That's okay. Saratoga is running and there's lots of money to be won at the racebooks! Koop, hope to run into you out there. Perhaps we can arrange a quick board meeting later on in the week. More later on PM's.

I too, in my first year made it to Las Vegas. This session finished was my 4th session. So far Ive been lucky enough to win a trip to vegas for:
2007 8 ball teams
2008 8 ball singles
2008 8 ball teams
2008 9 ball teams
2008 9 ball doubles

Just waiting to hear from my league OP to see how much money I am getting since I cant take 3 trips at the same time.
