I've seen the becue demonstration but never in competition

Has anyone seen the becue in a competition match

It is fairly new and doesn't have the advertising and exposure like REVO does, so there are no pros (to my knowledge) in the USA playing with one. There are a couple of Italian pros using them, but I haven't seen any videos of them playing.

IMHO, it hits "better" than the REVO and I don't care if anybody else is using one...pro or beginner.

There are TONS and TONS of cues that I've never seen used in competition, but that doesn't mean they aren't good playing cues.

SVB uses a $200 Cuetec that I see him using in world competions many times a year, but I would never buy one.

You See The REVO has Chris Milling all over youtube burning up the table with the REVO Then you have the Joshua Filler winning the china open 9 ball 2017 with one

I think Becue should put some becues in the hands of some players I'd like to see it so would everyone else

Fabio Petroni won the first tournament on the Eurotour that he played in with the Becue.. Not a big name in the US, but a good win in a very competitive field.

The simple fact is predator was always good with marketing, they are masters at it. So with Revo, no doubt they had them in the pros hands very fast-the ones that are in their payroll who were willing to switch.

Predator knows pool players will gravitate towards anything as long as it is seen winning, so the more pros playing it, the better chances of getting high profile wins.

What I was told by the cue makers is that a few well known pros offered to switch to BeCue with a sponsorship, but BeCue is not sponsoring any players at the moment. If they were to put out a call for a few pros to get on a paid sponsorship, I have no doubt you would see BeCue playing at the high levels.

As Shane proves continuously, he will play and win with anything. And Cuetec believes it's worth some money (rumored he makes $100 K a year in cuetec sponsorship alone).
I think BeCue will get around to sponsorships but they were extremely focused on their product line first and their manufacturing/customer delivery process.

It's a smart move because when you invest in advertising you better be ready to go with the product at high volumes.

becue needs to put out some $$$ and sponsor some top guys

Yes, I agree.
In today's market, you need to have top players just as much as they need a sponsor of you want to compete with the bigddogs.

I would suggest they start out with a big sponsorship to a young but powerful player who will be loyal as well as consistently finishing in the top tier.

If they signed Klenti Kaci or the one of the Taipai guys...younger Ko Brother perhaps...that would be a good launching pad.
Kaci seems like a player who will be there for a while.
Then of course, there's Jayson Shaw who would be a commercial and a half for them.

Everyone has a price and I see the carbon composite market sticking around for a while.
So their early investment in a top player might pay out great dividends.

Klenti signed with Predator last week.

Roberto Gomez is 10 times better then Klenti JMO :) and would be a good choice but he uses a Eddie Cohen cue I'm sure he'd change for Cash

Not necessarily ... he has played with the same cue for a very very long time now....

I was not trying to talk down on cuetec, but I was politely putting it that way to say if he could win with a cuetec he could win with anything.

But you got me to say it.

With all the pros under predator, the sponsorship offer can't be that astronomical...I'm sure they could be outbid.

Good call here. Yes he is quite the talent. There's probably a list of 10 names that could be signed for a modest amount. Another avenue to go down is pick a country, like the Phillipines, and outfit the top 10 unsigned pros with BeCues...so you have a pocket of players traveling and playing and promoting through their stellar play.

Looks like BeCue already has a head start on their home country, Italy.
