I have either had linen or ivory. Can someone post a closeup pic of an ivorine ferrule. I think the wrong ferrule got put onto my cue. What color is it? The one I have is real white and has an almost phenolic look to it. Thanks.

Thanks, but I guess I misworded what I was saying. In the past, I have either had ivory or a linen ferrule. I had one installed on a shaft and told them to put an ivorine 3 on it. Got it in the mail today, and it is as white as white can be. Was thinking ivorine should have slight yellowish color to it. Figured with the name, it had to resemble ivory in some way. I guess I will post a pic of it up close and people can tell me if they think it is an ivorine or not. Thanks.

The Ivorine ferrules are usually a bright white and is pretty pores. If the cm didn't seal it someway have fun trying to keep it clean. This should help you: http://www.cuestik.com/store/product.asp?DEPARTMENT_ID=67&ITEM_ID=6059

Ivorine is a nice white color
Aegis is similar in composition but a more yellowy, not quite ivory color...the name can be confusing
