Ivory Ban

Hey guys it's Dicksin Bob, Because I have nothing to contribute or can do nothing about the illegal ivory trade, I will just write Lame shit about your posts.
Your in a pool forum advocating a ban on ivory. A favorite material of cue makers and collectors. Next I suppose your going to get on a Norwegian fishing forum and call for the banning of fishing nets because they're not fair to the fish. Or a crabbing forum and call for the ban on crabbing because they have fake crab that tastes just fine.

You're only advocating "going after the poachers" (which is already being done, just not effectively enough) because you think it will fail.

Your "ideas" are identical to the idea of sentencing to death someone who sells pedophilia material and then selling the confiscated material to finance the effort against pedophilia.

That's quite senseless.

I don't think it will fail, it is failing.

You never come with an apples to apples comparison. Try it sometime.

Hey, Einstein- it hasn't been established by anyone that ivory is a favorite material of POOL PLAYERS and the last I heard pool players were pool related.:p

I think the really huge problem that you have with my posts is that they reveal how ridiculous your posts are. TS.

Your posts are LAME. The only thing they reveal is how little you know and how narrow your thinking is. Trying to answer a comment different than it was wrote is also LAME. I said cue makers and collectors, not players you choad.

I'm not suggesting you fix it all. I'm just saying that you seem to be focused on how "horrific" the elephant deaths are and i'm trying to point out that there are other horrific deaths whenever we eat an animal. I seriously doubt you'd be the one kicking down my door trying to take my ivory laden cues away from me or taking my piano because it has ivory keys. The whole argument of we're going to send the government in to kick in doors and steal from people en masse will never work and if it's tried door to door to search and confiscate every piece of ivory in existence elephants won't be the only things dying. The proposal to make owning ivory or any other currently legal collectable illegal and suggesting that the government will just waltz into every home in America and steal it from people will never work. Like I said, we disagree. I can't support the government or anyone else going door to door confiscating ivory, guns etc.

Like I wrote before --- One step at a time. We have to start somewhere.
