(Ivory?) Buttcaps & Initials*** Who made these cues on eBay?

The cue in your link is most likely a Huebler. I say that because the joint is a steel flat faced 5/16-18 pin and the shafts have nylon inserts. The rest of the cue is not unlike something Huebler would make, however its pretty standard fair for almost anyone. Hueblers are good quality cues, but not worth a fortune. Good luck if you bid.

I think it is a huebler too because of the pin and the shaft inserts. The but cap and bumper was probably replaced.

He has another one for sale with a ton of ivory it

That's ivory?

Really?

I doubt it.

It does not look like a very impressive cue to me. Really poor finish, I am thinking amateur re-finish with a brush.

Maybe something like an Adam/Helmstetter at best?

.

Man, that logo on the butt looks soooo damn familiar, but I can't put my finger on why

?

The cue looks nice. The butt cap could be ivory (looks like).
There is no poor re-finish...the cue is oil-rubbed...100%
Is it priceless ? NO. But it's a nice cue to have ...I suppose...

It's got a lip on the very end of the buttcap.

I can recall a cue maker doing that in the laste 1980's but don't remember his name.

I don't think it's ivory..

Logo or initials???

That logo looks very similar to a crude version of Hercules Cues.....

But the inserts do look very Huebler like..

No No No...

I don't think it's ivory..

Tell me you're not thinking of Frank Stellman (Sailor cues)....

Fyi

Just so everyone knows, Huebler wasnt the only one that used a flat faced 5/16x18 nylon insert, Meucci, Slade, Adams also used the same insert in some of their cues, I have examples of all three. Meucci is also building a few cues now with the inserts again in them.
I would say the cue isnt a HUEBLER

All sold now spill the beans!

Now that the cues are sold maybe someone will shed some light on what these two cues are? The last finish was some shellac or oil based urethane but I dont think it was the original. It has yellowed and turned a pretty nasty color. Its killing me. What are these two? The second one has some early Spain/Davis characteristics but they both scream of foreign crap. Whoever bought these fess up and at least tell us what you think they are.

Not Ivory and Not Huebler

Oh and these are not Hueblers and certainly not ivory. Come on people someone paid 500 for the pair for a reason...Please tell me you didnt gamble on imported junk.

Asked about this a few days ago

I was sent a PM stating they were made by Fred Fairchild out of Indy.

Didn't see this post till now.

Yes there was another thread about these cues and the logo has been identified as a F F ... Like Gino said... Fred Fairchild...
