I had seen some of that on Sandra's website. Absolutely incredible work.

She did the scrimshaw on my cue that Richard Black made for me a number of years ago.

I have met Bill Schick's god daughter many times and she has told me of cues that he gifted her at times in her life. Lots of scrimshaw and ivory. I have begged and done everything to see them to no avail. She did say if she sold them while Bill was alive he'd never speak to her again.. I can just hear Bill saying that to her so I have no reason to doubt her... Dying to see those cues though!!

I wish I had the talent to scrimshaw them myself like Bill does. If things were different and there was a bright future for utilizing that talent on my cues I’d try to learn.

Honestly I do not know if Bill performed the scrimshaw himself or sent it to an artist. I'll ask when I see her again. With Covid that may be a while.
