Ivory joint with a LD shaft

Am I crazy to want to have a cue made with an ivory joint and a LD shaft like an OB + Classic? The reason I ask is because I think an ivory joint is all about feel and a low deflection shaft is all about execution with only some feed back. Has this been done much, not too much or not at all?

An ivory joint will have zero affect on the deflection. There's zero problem using a low deflection shaft on an ivory jointed butt.

I have a Ivory joint on my cue. And I have been playing with a Predator 314-2 for years. I actually recommend this set up. I love it.
