Does anyone know if all J&J jump/break cues have a 5/16X18 joint...why is it so hard to find that info on websites that sell the cues? All they have is pics and no info about the cue.

As far as I know they have uni-lok.....
I would doubt that. Maybe quick release. But not Unilock. Probably have some 5/16X18.

I have a 3 piece sneaky with 5/16X18 at the shaft if you need one. It's brand new for $60

My J&J has the 5/16 18 pin. I have only seen a few but all of them have had it.
Older ones yes, but i would bet they also have some sort of quick release on some.

I am a dealer for J&J and I sell a lot of their jump break cues. All of them have quick release joints. The only J&J cues I have seen with a 5/16-18 pin are their playing cues.

Hey Craig I quess you ain't been selling that rice long enough. :D Yes, of course they all have quick release for the 2nd joint but they at least use to make some with 5/16X18 at the Shaft in years past.
Have a nice night my friend.:)

Yep, I have 2 J/B and both are QR. The 2 sneaky pete's I keep around for guests are 5/16-18, and they actually play pretty good....

so that means the extra break shaft they sell would only fit into one of their playing cues not one of their break cues? That doesnt really make sense. Also why dont websites who offer these products have the info on their website where people who might want the product can find it?

Talk to Chrisonline.. he has the connections with J&J ... I am sure he can answer any thing you could throw at him.

Good Luck

Maybe you shoudl be buying from people who care enough about you to put that info online, like this, and Fury Cues. :-)

There is really no reason to not have all the relevant information online. I can tell you that sometimes the task of "stocking" your virtual store with all the details of each item seems like an overwhelming task for an individual who thinks having an "online" store is easy.

I do? Thanks. I am sure it's prettier at least. I wasn't specifically raggin on J&J as I have no idea what is or isn't available on their website. Just on websites in general that don't provide all the needed info.

Looks like they do have the info available and the OP and the rest of us thanks you for taking the time to find it.
