Anyone have one of their jump cues? They are fairly cheap, and just wonder how they jump. Not the jump/break, just the actual jump cue. I have a jump/break, and fine it jumps fine on longer jumps, but isn't great for a dart stroke jump. I had a dedicated jump stick, and sold it, and now I'm missing it.

The only advice I can give on a jump cue is if you find one with a G-10 tip it will likely jump great, no matter what kind of cue it is.

The g10 is illegal to break with but its ok to jump with from what I have heard.
 
two of my buddies, Pete and Dave, are extremely good amateur players from here in CT.

A few of years ago, at SBE, they both purchased J&J dedicated jumpers. They both couldn't believe how effortlessly this cue jumps *and* hoe cheap it was. At that time they paid just $35.

I sweated a fun match between them when we were back home and it was like a JumpFest, each guy was using their new jumper even on shome shots where it wasn't needed.

It was impressive. Not just making a lot of shots but getting the control and desired shape.

Gotta give the J&J jumper two thumbs up. :thumbup::thumbup:

They jump very easy and are so inexpensive. I bought a lot of 6 awhile back for under $120 and then sold them for $40 each at my local pool hall. This was about 8-10 years ago, and all the guys that bought them still play with them.

Hmmm...in the last month I've sold around thirty break shafts with G-10 tips.


Lots of criminals playing pool.
