Thought this was cool. I was standing by the pro arena on friday when in walks in J.R. Smith of the NY Knicks. He came and watched the pro 10ball tournament and walked around the expo checking out the booths. Who knew he was into pool?

Stars at expo

That's awesome. I've met a couple stars at the expo, once one of the members of jackass, then one year Marvin Harrison was there as well.
 
I saw him walking by but was confused. I thought "that looks like JR Smith, but why would he be wearing a Celtics hat?"
 
JR Smith has always been a bit... of an odd rooting interest. I enjoy JR Smith. I enjoy watching a straight chucker get hot from the floor. Watching the personality quirks of an adolescent in a full grown adult professional athlete. He's just highly entertaining. Then again - I'm also neither a Knicks nor a Nuggets fan, so I have never had to suffer through his shot selection with a game on the line. :) Good to see he takes an interest in pool. I have to imagine a high number of athletes do, with their hand-eye coordination and balance? It would be a natural way to spend downtime.
