jack up to level???

here goes i recently had a guy setup my goldcrown II (the ones with dowels) it took and not one bit of bullshit 23hrs 2 days..................anyways of corse its not playing level. it seems to dip on one side the question is can i jack up the carriage without doing any damage to the slates and spin the aluminum leg to staighten the dip or does it have to be torn down and started from scratch by SOMEONE ELSE OF COURSE

If it's a GC2, the legs are adjustable, but I'd call the guy back and show him it's not level, then ask him....how come? But, yes...you can adjust the leg levelers yourself, not much of a problem, do you have a machinist level so you can check the level of the slate? Also, roll offs can be caused by other things, such as the balls, and the cloth...tracking the balls, can be misunderstood as unleveled.

Should you attempt to level without a technicians assistance, be sure you are lifting by the long frame on the sides and not the rails or blinds. Always on the side and never at a corner or end. Lifting by means of a corner or end of the table can twist the frame, pop the slates, disturb the joint compound, etc..... or worse :eek:
