Just curious how many people shoot with jacoby cues and love them. I personally have a jacoby sneaky Pete with 2 silver rings around joint n butt that I bought ag us 9 ball open last year from his booth. Absolutely love it .

I currently have two of them and have a custom on order (should be done by Dec).

I love their cues but still getting used to the edge hybrid shafts.

I have been playing with one for 4 years now and love it. If you get one make sure you get the edge shaft with it. You will not regret it

These are the two I have right now. One is just a simple cocabolo cue. The other is a one of a kind ebony and ivory.

I have a merry widow Jacoby in cocobolo and my wife shoots with a Merry Widow Jacoby in all Maple. Both are very good playing cues.
They have the steel 5/16 X14 piloted joint. Tipped my wife's cue with a Kamui Black medium which she loves.

I will confess that I prefer my Keith Josey for playing now...guess I'm stuck on J's?

I have a Jacoby D9 and I'm using the OB2 shaft. Plays great. My only issue is the finish on the butt of the cue. I've already sent it back to Jacoby to be refinished under warranty. They completely stripped it and refinished it. I've he the cue back for about 2 weeks and have the same issue. When you run your fingers over the areas where the wood meets the stone (turquoise), you can feel ridges. I understand this is due to "settling" but there should be some type of fix for this. Other than that, the cue plays great.

im thinking about getting another jacoby maybe one with some curly maple in it. love some tight rings.

The one I have on order is a gum York Burl wood with 5 ebony points. On the butt sleeve I am having a tiger wood with a checkerboard lattice design with the York Burl and ebony wood in the lattice.

Also having a break cue and jump cue with the same lattice design inlays and ring patterns to match.

I have already started thinking about my next custom (probably be a year or two). What I am thinking I want to do is a Miami Dolphins theme. A light color wood like tiger and have butterfly veneers with the Miami dolphins colors of teal orange and white. Then get a leather brown grip the color of a football. As for the butt sleeve on that one I was thinking vaneered Windows. Still tinkering with that idea though. Got football fever.

I use a Jacoby break cue that is awesome and just picked up one of their LD shafts for a Jacoby butt I have. Lots of inlays, beautiful cue.

Super nice cue what year is that
Thanks,
I designed this cue and had it made in 2009. I love it. I had the butt mad smaller so it would fit my hand better. Everyone that hits balls with said it was the best cue they had ever felt. Lots have offered to buy it but they just haven't got the price right yet LOL Jacoby (Dave & Brandon) make some of the best cues out there IMO

I've been using a jacoby for the last year and the edge hybrid for the last 2 and am absolutely satisfied with their product! Dave, Brandon, and Tony are all great as I'm sure the rest of the crew are, toured their shop this past winter and they are truely dedicated to their craft. IMO you would never regret owning any piece they make, and by the way they also have the best jump cues out and some pretty sweet breakers as well! Great thread love these guys

I play with a Jacoby cue. Tiger maple forearm, 4 ebony points, leather wrap, and ebony butt cap. Within the last 2 or 3 months, I've started using the Edge shaft. I love the combo.

Never tried the edge shaft yet got the stock one still on it shaved it down to 12.5 mm and put a onyx tip on it. Awesome tip by the way

I currently own a segmented wrapless jacoby. It has 8 points and some sick ring work. It was my player for a long time and I still use it on occasion. I strapped a OB2 shaft on it.

My personal feeling on Jacoby is they are underrated as customer cue makers.
