Jacoby Vs Schon

I have had 18 jacoby cue's and 4 schon cues.I would say that Schon cues hit way better IMO. How there bulit ,I think there both good quality cues.I realy hate jacobys standard taper it just hit's weird to me .LOL I am playing with a New jacoby right now I just ordered a tiger shaft for it never tryed one I hope it hit's good!!!!! Schon also seem to have much better resale to...
Kind of off topic, but thought I'd ask here. Does Schon make their shafts to where the Schon signature lines up on both the shaft and the butt? That's how mine is, and I think that is pretty cool. I would imagine it takes a fair bit of attention to detail to put the shaft portion of the joint in just so as to line up that way.

To make it line up on a schon in production you would attach the shaft, then use the logo to align the butt cap.... but no I dont think it is meant to line up. I have some schons that are close, and some that are not.
Danny Janes of Joss on the other hand, use to make sure the joint collar and shaft collar lined up on the old gold letter customs. I think that is where the "urban legend" came from about schon. Evan doesnt like anyone but himself making shafts or doing work on his cues, so he started marking the shafts (first he did the shaft collar, then the vertical logo on the shaft wood itself) to make sure a shaft that came back to his shop for work was one of his.
