James White New Arrival

Si, Steve, Sean, Zeeder, Edward, Denny, Shar, (sorry if I forgot anyone) thanks for all of positive comments. I think even Ross likes it, but it's hard to tell with him!

Chris - yes it has 5 veneers and the point of each veneer layer is even across all four points. Not just the outer veneer, all of them. That's tight.

Sore - Jim said that those abalone slivers were a pain to work with. I also wish I could have seen him installing them.

Jimbo - I'll have to measure the ring inlays up and down the cue to see if they get smaller as you go up. I believe Dennis Searing did that with the milled rings he put in Si's Orange Crush cue. Very impressive touch.

Now that Marcus has posted his new Tasc, my 15 minutes in the spotlight are fading. :p I got a nice tan from it though. :D
Scott

With a cue like that, how can you ever fade from the spotlight?
It is being shared by you and Marcus - Today!

This One Sure Is Pretty. Awesome Design, And The Execution, Looks Flawless.
Thanks, Marcus. I can't wait to see the new Tascarella that you hinted about in the thread on your OTHER new one! :D

Seen the cue in the shop right before it left. 10 out of 10. It went up in value the second it was finished being made. Congrats and enjoy.

that's got to be one of the nicest cues i've seen! :)
Have to agree.
I keep coming back to these pictures looking for ideas on a cue I will ask Jim to make for me.

Thanks GQ and pollux!! :)

And, alpine . . . . don't "borrow" too much or I'll sic Jimbo on your butt! :p

I am looking at a bumperless hoppe style using the woods.
I will only be borrowing the wood combination you have (ebony points, ebony butt, and amboyna burl front - awesome combination).
Of course it will have ivory - different inlays and more than likely a 3/8-10 pin with a large piece of ivory behind it.

So the design theft police should be able to keep away from me on this one.

Love this cue design and the final results...Awesome!

I'll have no problem if he makes the same exact cue as your's, how would you feel about it???

I wouldn't like it one little bit, which I think you already knew.

p.s. I was just pulling your leg, Myron. I knew you would put your own spin on your new one. Have fun with it!

I think this cue deserves a bump for anyone who might not have seen the pictures!

All in fun! :D
Really looking forward to getting this going through Jim and hoping it will look almost as good as yours.

The little brother just arrived. A break cue to complement the playing cue.

That cue is out of this world.
I love the butterfly that he did.
Awesome color combination.

I would leave you a GREENIE on the butterfly - but I will have to wait a few weeks.

Okay.....

Neener, neener, neener to you, too!

Yeah, you should take better pics of that cue. I want to see it in person at VF next year.

Congrats!
