Thanks, Linda.

I'm going to have to mosey on over to that site and check it out!
Curt, it was great meeting you, too. I sure hope my client this morning thinks I'm the best. I thought we'd be home by Sunday and that I would have all day long to get my job out. As luck would have it, I slept until 1:30 a.m. this morning, and my fingers will be in turbo charge, banging pages, until I finish. Man, I cannot believe how much I overslept.
I am going to get me a high-speed connection soon. My brother is coming over to the East Coast in a few weeks to stay at my house while we are away attending tournaments, to watch the house, dog and cat, et cetera. He's the computer guru in the family, and I am hoping he will lead me in the right direction. I will most likely purchase the wireless doodad and utilize it as a tax write-off, one of the benefits of being self-employed!
This past week at the Resorts, I must have walked 10 miles each and every day. Whenever we attend events in a casino environment, I find myself walking miles and miles, much more so than when I am at home. My poor feet can attest to how much walking I did. I stuffed myself to the gills at the ambrosial all-you-can-eat buffet at the Resorts Casino several times, and when I got home, I was fearful of stepping on the scales. Miraculously, because of all the walking, I didn't gain an ounce, but my poor aching feet are still a little tender.
I enjoyed meeting the AzB-ers in attendance at the Skins event, to include Curt. Many people came to the Skins and were aware of it from reading AzBilliards. That's what is so great about this discussion forum and Main Page up-to-date news articles.
BTW, what did you think about Frank Del Pizzo, the TD of the Skins? He is a stand-up comic by profession, and I thought his contribution to the event with his quick wit added an air of levity to the show, which was quite refreshing. He's one funny guy, and I got a kick out of seeing him in the pit between the matches.
I'm looking forward to seeing the Skins on TV which will air January 2nd of 2006 on ESPN. This year's skins was truly exciting and action-packed. New Jersey's Danny Basavich had a hometown crowd in attendance, to include his parents and lovely girlfriend, and he really put on a good show, playing excellent pool. Each and every shot by all the players in the semi-finals and finals was nothing but amazing. To be able to pull these shots off while under pressure is awe-inspiring and poetry in motion. I think you will agree when you see the show that Danny Basavich really gave it his all. Good performance by all of the finalists!
Hope to see you again, Curt, on the tournament trail. What a weekend, and I'm glad to be home. I'm now sipping my high-test coffee trying to wake up. I have 250-plus pages to bang out, and as I sit here in the cockpit, I'm getting ready for takeoff. Will JAM get the job done? You betcha. I like a good challenge!
