I think I recall reading somewhere that they were "rennovating" that tournament area in the casino, so that could be why he may only have one in the coming year.
Just this year far as they are saying, for the reason that JAM stated. Too bad, it's close for us and we love to watch the local talent pit themselves against top pros.
In his Sept. 28 announcement of the 2013/14 Joss Tour schedule, Mike Zuglan said: "There will only be 1 Turning Stone event this season due to extensive renovations of the Event Center during January and February of 2014."
The next 3 Joss stops are all in your backyard, Amsterdam, NY, Syracuse and Utica.
Plus there is a Alan Hopkins event the first 9 Ball Championship in Valley forge November 14-17. It will be held at the old SBE location that is now a casino. The map shows they will have 32 tournament tables at 8 "practice tables". If anyone has any gamble left it could be a good time. After the last SBE there is no gaurantee of action.
