The newspaper Kleine Zeitung did a video-interview with Jasmin Oushcan.

Even though I have had German-classes at school for 3 years, it is impossible to understand a word of what she is saying. She speaks so quickly :D

It is a real nice poolroom she is practising in! 6 or 8 tables, all Metro-tables with tournament equipment. Looked like a real classy place, and as a room where you get the motivation to improve your game!

Well, it's nice to see her labeled as "Billiard Queen," as opposed to a "Billiard Babe," which is what an American print media labeled her in an article I read a while back.

I personally enjoy reading articles about lady pros that are based more on their skills set and pool-shooting capabilities, as opposed to the physical looks. I may be in the minority on this forum with that opinion. :smile-square:

In particular, I like her tableside demeanor, how she attempts each shot, one at a time and very deliberate. She also pulls her hair back when she's in competition, as opposed to some lady pros who let their hair drape down over their shoulders onto the table. Her attire is appropriate for shooting pool, instead of spike heels and other nonsensical female clothing.

All in all, Jasmin is the real deal. The fact that she is pretty only adds to her allure as a professional player. This article is how pool players should be portrayed, as serious-minded competitors, champions in their sport, and not big bosomed bimbos.

Well I did german classes at school for three years too - I caught two words: "Fitness training"!

seriously thanks for the link - Jasmin is my favourite woman player by a mile. I just love her stroke, it really is a thing of beauty. And she plays the game like a man, like a proper pool player.
 
I have NO IDEA what she is saying.........................but I can't stop watching it!!
