never heard of him but if i had a cue he made and needed work i would send it to proficient billiards to fix it.

they are reasonable actually cheap. do great work and stand behind it and get it done very quickly with no excuses.

No. This was definitely a florida guy. Sadly he passed in 03 or 04. Very young.

Are you sure on those years? Here is a Jason Jones from Florida who was a custom cue maker and died young, but the years you posted wouldn't seem to match up for him. Can't be too many custom cue makers by that name in Florida who died young though, so maybe it is somehow still the same guy if there is any way your years could be off a bit.
