Jason Klatt beat Thorsten Hohmann?

My wife and I met him and Sarah at the WPBA event in San Diego this year. They are two of the nicest people you will ever meet in the pool community. By talking to him you would think he was just an average player becuase he doesn't brag about his game. He is very humble and down to earth. I would have never guessed that he was such a great player.

Most great players constantly brag about how good they are and Jason is definitely not like that.

Dang...he's humble.

If I beat Thorsten in a tournament... I would... #1 jump up and down on the table... #2 moon everybody... #3 throw up on myself... and then... #4 retire from pool forever because I've hit the pinnacle of my pool career. Oh yeah... #5 I would rent the nearest billboard to his house and proclaim my victory on it (as friendly reminder)... and... #6 have a plane towing a banner fly over his pad every other weekend (just so he doesn't forget).

But that's just me. :)

Nice shooting Mr. Klatt.

Jason is one of the best player here in Canada.I would say i'll put my money on him than John Morra .He is also a very nice guy and very humble.Good job Jason

Yep, Jason is humble all right.
I believe he gets this "aw shucks" grin on his face when complimented for his playing.
Never brags.

Klatt is a well known Canadian champion. He has won numerous big 9 ball tournaments up there, including the big 30k Tour Finale last year ($8k first prize). He plays great and is capable of beating anyone in a race to 11.

Can he win the Open? He is a big underdog that's for sure but it would certainly would be something special to see him in a spot to snap it off. Tommy Kennedy did it one year being about as big of an underdog as Klatt, so it is possible.

There's probably a thousand or two guys that can beat the top players in any given set....

Years ago at the open a short stop from Jersey had Hopkins 10 to 0 and fell apart and lost 11 to 10. And no it was not me.
