It needs to be refurbished. Here is my take on it; as a daily use case it's probably worth a couple hundred at best as there are many better cases on the market now. As a part of pool history and a one of a kind case I would value it at $400 on up. A good indication of what these cases go for can be found at Dick Abbot's website www.billiardcue.com as he has had several for sale there. Here is the exact page where most of them are around the $5-700 range. Now Dick's prices are a little higher than what things like this might go for here but at least it gives you an idea.
